Linen & Towel Donation to Shanti Avedna Ashram

The Rotary Club of Margão Midtown, in association with Sobit Sarovar Portico Goa – Palolem and Skål International Goa, successfully carried out a donation drive at Shanti Avedna Ashram, Loutolim, on 9th July 2026. The club donated linen and towels to the Ashram to support the comfort and care of its residents. The project reflected Rotary's commitment to serving humanity through meaningful partnerships and compassionate service. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sobit Sarovar Portico Goa – Palolem and Skål International Goa for their generous support and collaboration in making this initiative a success. **Chartered Accountants' Day Celebration – 2nd July 2026** The Rotary Club of Margão Midtown celebrated **Chartered Accountants' Day** on **2nd July 2026** at **B.P.S. Sports Club, Margão**, recognizing the invaluable contribution of Chartered Accountants to the profession, business, and society. On this special occasion, the club felicitated **CA Venkatesh Shet** and our own member **CA Rtn Atul Anavekar** in appreciation of their professional excellence, dedication, and service. Both honourees were presented with mementoes as a token of the club's gratitude and respect. The celebration highlighted the importance of integrity, financial stewardship, and ethical leadership that Chartered Accountants bring to every sphere of society. The club congratulated all Chartered Accountants on their professional day and thanked them for their continued commitment to excellence. The programme concluded with fellowship and dinner.

Courtesy Visit to Consul General of Portugal in Goa

A proud moment as Rtn. District Blood Donation Camp

District-Wide Blood Donation Camp – 1st July 2026 As part of the District-Wide Blood Donation Drive, a successful Blood Donation Camp was held on 1st July 2026 at B.P.S. Sports Club, Margão, bringing together Rotarians, volunteers, and members of the community in the shared mission of saving lives through blood donation. The camp was jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Margão Midtown, Rotary Club of Margao, Rotary Club of Margao Sunrise, and Rotary Club of Cuncolim, in association with B.P.S. Sports Club, Margão, the Wolf Riding Community, and the Hospicio Hospital Blood Bank. The initiative witnessed an encouraging response from donors who came forward to make a life-saving difference. Every unit of blood donated has the potential to save multiple lives, reinforcing Rotary's commitment to humanitarian service and community welfare. The organisers express their sincere gratitude to all the voluntary blood donors, volunteers, medical staff, and partner organisations whose support made this noble initiative a success.
